Bio (optional) : Growing up in the wilds and living the life of the Native Ponies, she lived with the Blackhoof tribe, living a few miles away from what is now known as Albuckquerque. She was raised to respect the elders and ancestors, learning to plant, weave, dance, and sing. Of course she loved it all, though of course loved the change in season as well. She became a wonderful weaver like her mother, Prairie Dove, by the time she was ten years old and could dance and sing with grace as if the wind carried her. Her cutie mark, a dreamcatcher, was received during a bad thunderstorm one night. She was tucked in safely with her friends and they couldn't sleep. She sang a lullaby for them to help them sleep, her horn lighting up to make little images appear before them. The foals fell asleep and slept through the night's storm. In the morning, her friends were telling about their dreams and how wonderful they were. Dream continued to do this for others who found they could not sleep, foals and adults alike, and it was soon that she found that she liked this and seemed destine to be a dream singing, thus the dreamcatcher cutie mark appeared.
When she was eleven, settlers came looking for a place to call their own. Sadly, peace could be held and a war broke out. Many warriors perished and those who did not fight were captured and split up. She lost her father, Crescent Wind, in the war, but knew he had gone down a true warrior. She was held as a servant for a wealthy pony, Rawhide Coltwell, helping her mother tend to his family and the lands he now owned. The pony owned the one saloon and had a son who had taken a liking to her, but she did not care for him. As many times as Desertfire tried to make her like him, she just kept pushing him away and she kept getting annoyed with it and him. He had a little sister, Diamond Sunrise, who adored Dream and often was seen around her. When Dream was fifteen, her mother passed away from an illness that not even the doctor or even her friend from the tribe, Spirit Moon, could figure out. Prairie Dove told Dream to be strong, to keep singing and dancing. After that day Dream often could be seen at the town doctor's office, talking with Spirit Moon, who had always been there for her, a shoulder to lean on. He reminded her of her father and, though he could hardly admit it, he had feelings for her. Desertfire had often followed and saw where she was going and didn't like how the two got along. He started to form a plan in mind.
One night Rawhide announced at a party that his son and Dreamcatcher would be wed. Dreamcatcher, startled by this news, fainted clear out on the spot and when she woke, she found herself in her room with Diamond beside her. She asked what happened and the filly told her about the party and engagement announcement and how she was now free from her contract because of it. Dream sat up and said she had to go. Diamond paused from her bouncing and looked at her sadly, asking her why. Dream explained that Desertfire had been lying, that he had never proposed to her and she had never accepted. Diamond was upset with her brother now and asked what was going to happen. Dream said she was going to leave and when Diamond began to tear up, she opened a trunk she had and lifted out a dreamcatcher she had made, handing it to the filly. She explained what it did and the filly nodded, running off to hang it above her bed. Dream in the mean time wrote a note to her friend Spirit, explaining what was happening and then sealed it. Once all was quiet in the house, Dream snuck out with a saddlebag of food and water, made her way to where Spirit stayed and levitated the note into his room, then turned and left Albuckquerque. As she left though, she sent one last song through the air.
Now she looks for a place to stay and a place where she will be accepted.
