A constantly bustling hub of activity, Ponyville is a quaint village nestled comfortably between Whitetail Wood and the Everfree Forest. It's home to various ponies, and sports several residences, shops, restaurants, and a thriving marketplace. Around the community's perimeter is a vast and beautiful landscape, with varying paths and crossroads that intertwine and lead to locations in close proximity, like Sweet Apple Acres, and further destinations such as the Dragon Mountains. Two shops in particular stand out in this busy hamlet: Sugarcube Corner, the local confectionery, and Rarity's Carousel Boutique.

Sub-board: Town Plaza

An immense patch of farmland,primarily owned and run by Applejack and her family. Though the landscape is dominated mainly by a behemoth apple orchard, other crops are grown and harvested in this rustic stretch of earth. Occasionally, when events are too large to be held within Ponyville's Town Square, the land here is used for Festivals and the like, chiefly during the Fall season. Other, smaller farms linger on the outskirts of Sweet Apple Acres as well.

Sub-board: Crusader's Clubhouse

Cloudsdale is an impressive city held aloft in the sky, completely populated by pegasus ponies, due to the other, earthbound ponies being unable to stand on clouds. It's architecture is forged from an interesting blend of different clouds and more material components, which appear to form buildings akin to Roman construction. Cloudsdale is notable for being the source of Equestria's weather, each climate and atmospheric condition being meticulously done by their local factories. It's also the location for the annual Best Young Flyer competition, where fledgeling pegasi come to test their dexterity and skill to see who is the next master of the skies.

Whitetail Wood is a widespread, aesthetically pleasing forest that fringes along Ponyville's perimeters. It's tranquil setting often makes it a place of both solitude and significant, seasonal events. The animals and weather within this forest are all under the care of the Ponies living nearby, who help usher in Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer through various means, as well as tend to the creatures who reside here. A few roads branch out through the labyrinth of trees, leading to the far off villages of Hoofington and Fillydelphia.

Tucked back in the depths of Everfree is the remains of the castle once shared by the celestial sisters before Princess Luna's unfortunate banishment. It now is a monument, yielding to the growth of the forest.

Tucked away in the southwestern region of Equestria resides a small desert town named Appleloosa, a community born and bred through the ideals of the Wild West. In typical fashion it's home to several western archetypes, such as a saloon and sheriff's house, though it's primary draw and source of income is it's lone apple orchard, managed by Braeburn, a member of the Apple family.

Seen from practically anywhere within Equestria, there is a single, spine-like assembly of mountains that loom dismally on the horizon. Though not a place often ventured by ponyfolk, it's accommodated many other creatures over the years, the most mentionable being dragons of varying shapes and sizes. The base of the peaks is actually quite scenic despite the dangers that may reside within the steep rock formations.

Though Canterlot is indeed the prestigious capital of Equestria, Manehattan comes as a close second in terms of grandeur and size. Skyscrapers and tall buildings of note loom over the constantly busy streets, this metropolitan paradise practically a living, breathing entity of it's own. Restaurants; theaters; nightclubs; you name it, Manehattan has it, and much more.
