Name: Summer Wind
Gender: Male
Age: Early Twenties
Species: Pegasus
Pelt Color: Green
Mane/Tail Color & Style: Gold, short and scraggly
Eye Color: Blue
Cutie Mark: Whirlwind
Build: Slightly taller than the average Pegasus
Residence: Ponyville
Occupation: Weather Pony
Talents, Skills: Good at reading, and predicting changes in, wind currents; seemingly endless patience
Motivation: He's not really one for any great aspirations and just getting by is enough for him.
Likes: Blustery days; Sweets; Pony watching
Dislikes: Corporate ladder climbing; Being used for somepony elses' personal gain
Character Personality: Not a very talkative pony, he usually won't speak unless spoken too. Despite his normally quiet nature, he does enjoy spending time with other ponies and always tries to keep up his side of the conversation whenever somepony does decide to talk to him. When he does talk to or do things with others, there's usually a niggling little thought in the back of his mind that makes him wonder if he's wasting the other pony's time. When he has nothing else to do, he enjoys just watching other ponies go about their daily business. He hates to admit it, but he has a major sweet-tooth.
Bio: Summer Wind grew up in Cloudsdale, where his parents both held management positions in the weather industry. His parents were so often busy with work, or trying to garner raises and promotions, that they rarely payed him much mind. Most often, they only seemed to pay attention to him when they wanted him to try to get closer to the children of their superiors. As he got older his mother even began pushing him to court her boss' daughters.
Soon getting fed up with this, Summer Wind opted to move out. Being one of the few places he knew of within a days flight from Cloudsdale, he figured Ponyville would be as good a place as any. He took a low-level job in the towns' weather team and moved into a small, single bedroom home. The first month after he moved to Ponyville, he and his parents exchanged letters once a week. His letters would always tell them how he was, what he had been up to, and sometimes a little bit about the ponies he had met. Their letters always asked when he planned to come home, what jobs they could get him into, and which fillies were still single. After the first month, their letters only came once a month for the next six months. Now, they no longer send any letters at all.
