Name: Frost Hammer
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Species: Earth Pony
Pelt Colour: White
Mane/Tail Colour: White
Eye Colour: Bright ice blue
Cutie Mark: Mjöllnir (Thor's hammer)
Build: Thick, heavy draft
Residence: Small place on the edge of Ponyville
Occupation: Blacksmith, carpenter, mason
Talents/Skills: Metalworking, carpentry, masonry, carving, runecrafting
Likes: The North, cold, the great white silence of winter, metal, wood, stone
Dislikes: The heat, too much sun, greed, fanatics
Personality: Jovial and friendly, with a great sense of humor, a love for ale, and a Norse-sounding accent. He smiles a lot and likes to talk to people, and make jokes.
There is a darker side to him, however. Nords possess the legendary Battle Rage, called Berserksgangr. Once this is awakened, all in their path is cut down. No pain, no fear, no mercy. However, this is harder to awaken in Frost Hammer than in other Norse ponies, as he is not a trained Berserker.
Bio: In the very, very far north of Equestria, in the Dragon Mountains, there lives a race of ponies who are famed to those around them as poets, bards, artisans, and blacksmiths. Not just that, but also warriors. Feared and ferocious warriors, forged by the vicious northern winter. The inhabitants of this beautiful and terrible land call themselves Norðurfólk (Northern Folk), but to the rest of Equestria, they are Norse. They call their land Fjallheim, or Mountainhome. Frost Hammer is one of them, and he was the son of a blacksmith and a woodcarver. He learned both these skills as a foal, as well as masonry from his uncle. He took great pride in them, and became one of the best in Mountainhome. He then decided that he wanted to share his works with the world, and so he packed up his smithing tools and left Mountainhome, much to the despair of his parents. He set up a smithy on the edge of ponyville, where he carves and forges works to be sold, mostly to Equestria's bourgeoisie, though many common ponies have aquired his crafts as well. He now lives comfortably, forging his fine Norse masterpieces for the world to see.
