(OOC: Slight Season Two Episode Three reference ahead)
Twilight had to hold back a laugh as Thunder Drive stumbled over his words. He seemed like he was trying too hard to impress her. "Ok then. I'll get you those books on weather." With that she levitated the books off of the shelf and placed them on a nearby table for Thunder to read.
Twilight then heard the door open and was greeted by a familiar pony. "Hello Rarity! I've been busy myself studying and sending reports to Princess Celestia. Now that the princess only wants reports when I have something to report rather than a deadline, I can breathe a bit." She shuddered as she thought back to a certain event that happened very recently that made her friends question her sanity. She decided it was best to change the subject."Anyway, you said you looking for a book on the history of fashion, right? I think I may have something here, but I have to see. It might take a few minutes."

The white unicorn offered a smile in response, flipping her hair again. "Oh worry not, Twilight, do not stress over it. Remember, the first priority of coming here was to visit you anyway." Rarity laughed aside herself, the mention of deadlines from Twilight was amusing. "Seems the poor girl was hounded by them herself too!" She thought, standing where she had been and watching Twilight go off to retrieve the book for her, presumably. "Hmm...it must be so pressuring to have to answer directly to the Princess. I have no doubt any of my orders were ever as pressing as making deadlines like that."
Her mental musing concluded, she stepped forwards with a dainty hoof, a shiny polished ponypedi clear as day upon it, slowly trotting into following her purple coated friend. "You know, Twilight. I've been wanting to commend you on the obvious hard work you do about here while juggling spending time with your friends and sending reports to the highest order of authority in the land. No doubt it was stressful, as we well know from well...how we thought you were acting the other day." She offers a gentle smile and a tilt of her head. "I believe the most appropriate way would be too craft you a dress that will match your splendor! After of course, I study designs from those books of fashion history. I am certain I could piece together something marvelous. Perhaps even better than that first one I had created! That will be hard to best, but for you Twilight, I will apply all that I know and will soon know to make it the best I've ever created!

"Ah, here it is," Twilight replied as a book titled "Fashion Styles of Recent Equestria History" floated from the shelf and hovered in front of Rarity. Twilight then heard Rarity mention the fact that it was hard work not only studying but also to report to Princess Celestia. Thankfully she didn't bring up the whole mental breakdown she experienced in sending out a trady report. the very thought of that event sent shivers down her spine.
Not only did Rarity not talk about it, but she even was prepared to make her a dress! "Oh you don't have to make me another dress, Rarity. My dress that I wore for the Gala is fine. It did get a little damaged when we were leaving, but if you could just repair it, I could wear it next time." The last thing Twilight would want to do was inconveniance her friend especially since she knew that Rarity was always busy at her shop.

"Twilight~!" a familiar, young male voice called, "I got the food you wanted!" Spike said from the front door. Spike, a few bags in his arms, noticed that they had visitors! "Oh! Hey, 'sup!" Spike said before noticing one of the visitors was Rarity, and his mouth lolled open a bit, "H-Hey there Rarity..."

Nickel Vision was making her way through Ponyville. It was a nice, quiet little town. Very much unlike where she came from. That was a good thing. She noticed several strange buildings. One looked as if it was made out of candy. She would check that out later, it made her chuckle. Must be a strange person who build it. She remembered a story she was told when she was a little filly. There had been a witch who also lived in a house made out of candy. Little colts and fillies would go there, and the witch would give them lots of treats to make them fat and then gobble them up. Maybe there lived a witch in there as well. She chuckled again. That would be silly, there were no such things as witches. Everypony knew that.
Another building stood out to her. It was very pretty, with lot of decorations. Part of it looked like a carousel. She liked carousels, they were fun. She knew she was to old for them though. Still, maybe she would go inside sometime, see who owned it.
For now, she was on her way to the mayor. The first preparations with her garden were complete. She had prepared the soil and planted some seeds. She still needed to find some place to buy small apple trees, but that could wait. For now, the words of the nice pony who sold her the cottage were on her mind. If she wanted to build that fruit and vegetable cellar, or maybe some sort of storage shed, she needed permission from the mayor. The pegasus was a bit worried though. She didn't have a plan. According to the nice pony, she needed a plan to get permission from the mayor. At least, Nickel was pretty sure that was what he had said.
The pegasus walked past a huge tree. Suddenly, she noticed the sign displaying a book. That made her stop. Was this a library? She studied the tree more closely. There was a door, so it was definitely a building. She couldn't see the word library anywhere though. Not on the building nor on the sign. This was a problem.
Librarians were smart, everypony knew that. So if this was a library, she could get help with making a plan. Maybe there was even a book about it, there were books about the silliest things. But it could also be a book shop. She wasn't sure how smart book shop owners were, but they probably weren't a smart as librarians. And some of them didn't like it when you came by and didn't buy something. She could usually tell, and often she bought something just because she felt guilty. But she couldn't really afford that now. She had just gotten here and she had spent most of her bits on the cottage and the move. She didn't know yet if ponies here needed her help and if they would be nice sometimes and give her some bits when she did.
It could also just be somepony who liked books or something. That would be a bit strange, if an unknown pony just walked into your home. Unsure of the situation, she lifted a hoof and somewhat gently knocked on the door.

(Sorry for the Wall o' text)
Guiding Light was excited. No, more than excited, he was bouncing off the walls. For today, Guiding was finally going to the Ponyville Library. The library had been closed for awhile after the past librarian left. This was a sad time for him, as he loved to go to the library and read.
But now the library was open, and Guiding Light finally had the free time to visit it. Although he was interested in reading the books, there was something else that he found interesting. About a year ago a certain unicorn from Canterlot named Twilight Sparkle and her baby dragon assistant Spike arrived there. He heard the stories, how she helped defeat both Nightmare Moon and Discord, how she was a very powerful pony who possessed the Element of Magic, how she was a student of the Princess Celestia. He hoped that maybe, just maybe she could teach him some magic, especially light magic, as it seemed few knew about it.
The problem was... well ... he was shy. Yet today he was going to meet her, no matter how hard it may be. He bravely walked up to the door and knocked, ready to meet Twilight.

Twilight Sparkle offered a reassuring smile to Rarity. “Please don’t stress about it, the dress you made for the Gala is just fine! Honest!” She said as she turned to Spike and smiled delightedly at the baby dragon. “Oh, hey Spike! Just in time! Could you bring it upstairs? Rarity, would you like to join us for food?” She said, smiling brightly at the snow white unicorn. Though, before she could say anything else, she heard the knock on the door which caused her to grin sheepishly. “Just after I’ve helped whomever it is at the door!” She quickly added. The unicorn then took a deep breath, as she looked around the crowded room. Hopefully Rarity wouldn’t mind waiting just a wee bit.
The lavender hued unicorn looked at her two friends, then at the small crowd in the usually quiet library, and headed slowly towards the door “Guys? I’ll be having lunch, but if you need anything don’t hesitate to ask! I’ll be just upstairs!” She said, beaming delightfully at them, hoping none of them would mind either as her stomach growled at her.
Naturally, things didn't always go as planned, and Twilight got surprised with the second knock at the door. Gosh what a busy day it would be! Hopefully she would have time for eating with her two friends. Her horn glowed briefly as she opened the door carefully, “Hey! Welcome to Ponyville Library! I’m Twilight Sparkle, currently the librarian here. How can I help you ponies today?” She cheerfully spoke as she took a step to the side, peeking out at the two at the door.

"Oh darling, did you not learn anything from the last time you told me not to make you a dress? Pshaw! It just happens to be my career! I design and make new creations bi-daily at the least! Not to worry Twilight, this will be no trouble!"
A nervous chuckle follows the unicorn mare her ears twitching at the dinner request. "Oh I would love to stay for lunch, if it isn't any trouble, of course. I'll even stay after and help you clean!" She offered a quick flutter of her lashes intent on showing off her complimenting eyes shadow to all eyes in the room.
The white mare squeaked as another pair of knocks were on the door. She may have felt a little awkward as she just walked right in, it was during business hours after all! But perhaps some other ponies were just a little more cautious. Goodness Twilight was nearly as busy as she today! Nearly...and the little prodigy still wished to create dinner for herself, Spike and she? Oh no, she had to help! She smiled at the young dragon before he could make his way up the steps. "I'll follow you up there in just a minute, Spike! Allow me to just handle something first.." Moving on the other side of the door, so she was hidden from view from the two ponies who were still outside, she rapidly, but firmly tapped the violet pony on her shoulder. "Twilight!" She still whispered, but it was more insistent. "Please, allow me to assist you with lunch. I'm sure Spike know what is you planned on making, and you know how precise I insist on being when it comes to preparation. I just can't...bear to see you so over extended.." She flutters her lashes one more and shows off her pearly white teeth to her dear friend.

Nickel Vision gave the pony suddenly sitting next to her a bit of an odd look. He hadn't even given her a glance. Maybe he couldn't see? But then how did he know where to walk? Before she could give the matter any more thought though, the door opened and a purple unicorn appeared in the doorway. Before she could even ask, the unicorn introduced herself as the librarian. How lucky, that must mean this was a library! The pegasus beamed.
"Phew, I was so worried this was a book shop or something! If you are a librarian you are very smart, right? I want to build a storage shed for my vegetables, and the nice pony who sold me the house said I needed a plan to get permission from the mayor. You can help me with that, right? Oh, I'm Nickel Vision by the way, hi!"
The pegasus offered a hoof.

(OOC: Sorry Nickel, thought you were already in the library when I arrived)
Guiding Light realized there was another pony accompanying him at the door and was about to say something when the door suddenly opened. There, greeting the two, was Twilight Sparkle. Guiding opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came out. He wanted to say how it was an honor to meet her, how he heard about her adventures and her magic, how he wanted to learn from her. Now he was blowing it, and on the first meeting! No, he had to gather up the courage. No more being afraid to talk to other ponies. "Um... hello Twilight Sparkle. I'm Guiding Light. I... um... was wondering if I could ask you something. It's not about finding a book as I've been to this library before. I was wondering, since I heard you know alot about magic... um... do you about light magic?"

Twilight Sparkle’s ear twitched slightly as Rarity came up beside her. A small smile was given to her, and she nodded “Of course… if you want too!” She said, hoping her friend didn’t feel forced into helping her or something! The last time Rarity had been so kind to make a dress for her, things went wild. Shaking her head the unicorn turned her attention back to the door and took a step forward.
“It’s so nice to meet you Nickel and you too Light! I’m not sure about that really, but I’ll see if I can find a book! I’m sure there is a book about it!” She said with a small grin, trying to think while she turned to looking at Guiding Light “Light Magic? Well, I know a few tricks, can’t you stick around till after I’ve helped Nickel and eaten.” She added quickly as her stomach rumbled out loud again. “ehehe” She blushed with a nervous giggle, her ear twitching again. “Come in both of you!”
The lavender hued mare turned as she led the way into the center of the Library. “Sorry Rarity I hope you don’t mind waiting” She added quickly as her horn started to glow, and various books started to hoover and fly towards her as the unicorn started to search for the right book, before calling out for her assistant.
"Spiiike!"

"What's up Twi?" Spike asked as the others entered and meandered around while they struck up conversations amongst each other. Spike, dutiful as always, was putting a few books away at the moment when Twilight called for her little assistant! He spread his arms and legs, not empty from its load of hardcover books, and slid down to jog over to her, "Whatchya need?"

The dragon mentor was making his way over to the group of ponies gathered by the door, however before he could arrive, the ivory mare had separated from the pack and stuck her hoof out of in front of him to block his path. "Ahp ahp ahp! Just hold it right there, Spike. Twilight is starting to become a little overwhelmed, and I of all ponies know just how straining that can be! She needs no distractions. Besides, you are to come with me to help prepare lunch."
Her ears then flicked, Twilight's call to the little dragon echoed through her head, and she lowered her head with a blush, feeling a little embarrassed...how could she be so presumptuous! Clearing her hoof of Spike's path, she chuckled nervously to him. "Err...uhh..forgive me, dearie. I'll just get uhh...started. I'll be in the kitchen setting up, or rather placing everything in it's proper place for..."
Her horn illuminated a transparent silver color, the bags of groceries Spike had brought in earlier become enveloped in a matching aura, and levitate next to her. To maintain her composure, the white mare emphasized her step a little, making sure each hoof left the ground at least the foot as she paced herself into the kitchen, nose held into the air slightly. Once she was sure she had disappeared from view, into the kitchen of course, she set the bags down on a counter, quirked her lips. Though she'd never actually been accustomed to this room all that well, she was confident it wouldn't be hard to find where everything went, assuming the Twilight kept it organized...but she was a librarian, she likely had a decimal marking on the backs of everything here. Her horn lit up again, a little brighter than usual, and in an instant all the cupboards and drawers flew open, Rarity needed only a few seconds to analyze what was in them all, then repeated the trick with the grocery bags, it's contents floating out from the paper containers; She felt right at home doing this, it was just like organizing her inspiration room when she was doing having a moment of "organized chaos". Taking the time she needed to go over where went where, she'd close all the drawers and cupboards she'd not need to put things into, and one by one, the groceries would float to their designated spots, the unicorn humming a small tune, reminiscent to the last verse in her dress making song."Can by can...Chips and dip, Bread goes here, press and zip. Stock by stock, now the rest. Bag by bag cleared, compressed. All too avoid a big..mess...." Huffing, the emptied bags of groceries were indeed compressed flat on the counter top, each piece of product nestled in the proper cupboard and drawer. Smiling to herself, she'd await Spike's entrance so that she could help him start the lunch.

Nickel sat for a few seconds with het outstretched hoof. Seeing as it was ignored, she sheepishly set it down. At least the librarian seemed friendly. 'Maybe she didn't see my hoof?', the pegasus thought. She had only really met three ponies so far in Ponyville, two of which were present company. Well, four if she counted the nice pony who sold her the house. 'Maybe a lot of the ponies in Ponyville have eye problems?' Nickel shrugged it of. The librarian smile was warm and her voice was kind, so it probably was something like that.
Suddenly, she heard the pony next to her speak up. The pegasus noticed he spoke softly though and seemed to be stuttering a bit. 'Maybe he's just shy? Is that why he ignored me? It did seem he was about to say something just before the door opened. Well, at least he told me his name and the name of the librarian.'
After the librarian (who she now knew was named Twilight Sparkle) invited them in, she followed her into the library. The purple unicorn started to levitate some books from the shelves, temporarily preoccupied. Nickel turned her attention to the other unicorn that had entered the library with her. She studied him for a couple of seconds.
"Are you shy?"
She heard the librarian yell out a name and was briefly distracted by a small dragon entering the room, but quickly focused on Guiding Light again waiting for his answer.

Guiding Light at first expected Twilight to be busy. after all, it seemed she had several ponies already at the library. But it seemed that she would be able to assist him shortly. "Oh thanks Twilight. And yes, I can stay and wait until you're finished with the others and eating. I'm sure I can find a book to read in the meantime." As he entered the library, the pony next to him asked if he was shy. This was the first time somepony ever asked that. "Well... um... I not really shy. I'm just cautious around new ponies. I mean I know many ponies are nice, but I don't want to say anything to upset them or say something that will make them laugh at me."
